the coffee here is taken seriously, and you'll feel that quickly. monroe isn't a city that gets a lot of specialty coffee attention, so finding something genuinely considered on calhoun road is the kind of thing worth knowing about. this isn't a place that's trying to impress you with noise or volume. the regulars who keep coming back to this spot on the eastern edge of snohomish county aren't doing it out of habit alone. they're doing it because the coffee holds up. if you're passing through on your way into the cascades or just moving through town on a weekday morning, a well-pulled espresso here is a better reason to stop than most.
