you're on chuo-dori, the main artery cutting through aoba ward, and parco2 is right there in the thick of it. third floor, which means you've already made a small decision to come here rather than stumble in. the most coffee sits inside one of sendai's busiest retail buildings, which sounds like the wrong address for a specialty coffee shop, but the foot traffic doesn't seem to dilute what's happening here. the standing among locals is strong enough that you don't come once and forget about it. it's the kind of place that pulls you back into the building when you were already on your way out. if you're moving through central sendai on a weekday morning, the third floor of parco2 is a better stop than most things at street level.
