you're on north end, longhoughton, which is a quiet residential stretch north of alnwick where nothing much announces itself loudly and the running fox fits right into that rhythm. the village isn't a tourist circuit, so the people who find their way to 26 north end are mostly there on purpose. that counts for something. a specialty coffee shop this far from a city centre has to be genuinely good or it simply doesn't last, and the running fox has clearly managed both. locals come back, repeatedly, which is the clearest signal you'll get. if you're passing through the northumberland coast on the a1 corridor, it's worth the small detour off the main road. end the morning with whatever they're pulling as a filter.
