tii cup does the bubble tea and coffee crossover without compromising either side. that's rarer than it sounds. most places that straddle both categories end up weak on one, and you can usually guess which. tii cup, sitting off highway 7 in saint louis park, has built a local following precisely because it doesn't treat specialty coffee as an afterthought to the boba menu. if you're driving out to mn-7 for a matcha milk tea or a taro drink, you won't feel like you wandered into the wrong place if you order an espresso drink instead. the reverse is true too. saint louis park isn't a neighborhood that needs to compete for attention, and tii cup doesn't seem interested in doing that anyway. worth stopping for the bubble tea on a long stretch of highway 7.
