you've made the drive out to the cornish coast, probably along the b3263, and the last thing you need is somewhere that treats a decent flat white as an afterthought. tintagel isn't a place people pass through accidentally. the village sits at the atlantic edge of cornwall, and the cafe here leans into that with what the strong local reputation suggests is a genuine commitment to the coffee itself, not just the postcard setting. independent places at tourist-heavy spots can go either way, and this one clearly hasn't taken the easy route. if you're planning a morning visit, get there before the castle crowds pick up and take whatever time you need over your first cup.
