out on tx-151, westover hills isn't where you'd expect to find espresso taken this seriously. the strip-mall address doesn't set expectations, but wicked voodoo espresso has built something real here anyway, and the regulars clearly know it. this is a neighborhood that runs on cars and errands, and having a shop that anchors itself around espresso, done well and done consistently, matters in a way that's easy to underestimate. you come in for one shot and find yourself recalibrating what you thought the west side of san antonio had to offer. the crowd that keeps coming back isn't doing it out of habit alone. pull up on a weekday morning, order the espresso straight, and see what the fuss is about.
