the mirage is kees van der westen's heat exchanger machine, built around a large copper steam boiler, a 450cc thermo-siphon HX per group, and a gear lever interface with PID control and shot timer. the duette runs a 13-liter boiler, the triplette a 19-liter, both at 220-240v. it trades the multi-boiler complexity of the Spirit for a simpler, service-friendly system that still delivers serious temperature stability and pre-infusion quality. handbuilt in eindhoven, available in custom RAL finishes.
