Held every spring at Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, the London Coffee Festival is the flagship UK consumer-facing specialty coffee event. Four days, hundreds of roasters and equipment makers, the UK Barista and Brewers Cup national finals on the Lab stage, and a relentlessly busy main floor that absorbs the entire East End coffee scene. Hermanos, Colombian Coffee Roasters, Square Mile, Workshop, Caravan and most London independents exhibit. The festival also runs the UK rounds of the World Latte Art Championship.

how to do it

when to arrive

trade days (thursday and friday) are quieter and ideal for one-to-one conversations with roasters. saturday and sunday are consumer-heavy and busier from 11am onwards.

don't miss the lab stage

the uk barista and brewers cup finals run on the lab stage across the weekend. the winners qualify for the world barista championship and world brewers cup respectively.

getting around

truman brewery is 5 minutes' walk from shoreditch high street overground. liverpool street and aldgate east are both within 12 minutes' walk.

faq

what does a ticket cost?

standard adult tickets are around £25 in advance, £30 on the door. vip and trade passes are higher. children under 12 enter free.

is food included?

food is paid separately on-site. most exhibitors offer small coffee servings included in the ticket price.

are dogs allowed?

service dogs only. the venue does not permit other animals.
