world of coffee
the specialty coffee association's flagship global event, hosted in a different european city each year.
World of Coffee is the SCA's flagship event for the global specialty coffee trade. The hosting city rotates annually across Europe (Copenhagen 2025, Geneva 2026, Athens 2027 typically) and the event hosts the World Barista, World Brewers Cup, and other WCE championship finals. It is the most concentrated gathering of green importers, roasters, equipment makers, and competition athletes in any given year.

trade-only first day
the wednesday before public opening is trade-only and is when most of the green-coffee deals get done.

the world barista and world brewers cup finals are usually scheduled for the friday or saturday and are open to all ticket holders.
