documents we accept for verification
submit at least three documents covering at least three categories below.
- 1. legal existence — business registration, ICO exporter ID (origin), customs broker license (importer), FDA registration + ITN (US importers), EORI (EU importers).
- 2. specialty credential — SCA active membership, Q-grader on staff (with CQI-verifiable ID), ACE auction participation history, Cup of Excellence participation.
- 3. active shipment proof — bill of lading (price + buyer can be redacted, ICO mark cannot), phytosanitary certificate, ICO certificate of origin, customs entry doc. Must be from the last 12 months.
- 4. quality protocol disclosure — pre-shipment sample SOP, cupping protocol, sample-to-delivery consistency policy, insurance policy summary.
- 5. buyer references — at least two named roaster clients we can verify. Bonus weight if those clients are already on NAS.
uploads are stored in a service-role-only bucket. we never republish the documents themselves — only the editor-written verification summary appears publicly.
