slow mornings suit this place. if you're the type to want decent coffee without having to drive into town and fight for a table, acorns coffee and cake in bordon is doing something quietly useful. they roast their own beans, which means what ends up in your cup has a shorter, more considered journey from roastery to counter than most places can claim. havannah way isn't a destination street, but that's partly the point, low footfall, less noise, more room to actually sit and think. the cake side of things gives you a reason to stay longer than a single espresso demands. come on a weekday morning, order something slow, and let the cortado do what a cortado is supposed to do.
