still talking about where to go when you want something roasted in-house rather than shipped in from a warehouse somewhere. all day roasting company on shida road is one of those places locals in zhongzheng seem to return to without much deliberation, which says something about consistency. the shida area has a particular rhythm to it, university foot traffic mixing with longtime residents, and a roaster that actually does its own roasting fits that mix better than most. you don't have to be deep into specialty coffee to appreciate the difference a focused roasting operation makes. the menu stays grounded in what they do well rather than sprawling into every trend. worth going in the morning, when shida road is still quiet and the day hasn't picked up speed yet.
