kimberley sits in that stretch of nottinghamshire where light industry and residential streets exist side by side without much ceremony, and the coffee scene here is smaller than in nearby nottingham city but no less serious for it. coffee central roasting co operates out of unit 1 on pentrich road in giltbrook industrial park, which is exactly the kind of address that filters out anyone who isn't genuinely looking. that location, utilitarian and unassuming, puts the focus squarely on what's being produced rather than on atmosphere as a selling point. if you're making the trip out to ng16, you're not wandering in by accident. specialty roasting at this level is a supply-chain decision as much as a culinary one, and finding a roaster operating independently from an industrial unit in nottinghamshire is genuinely useful. the coffee is the point, and pentrich road is where you go to get it.
