Concelia Coffee GmbH

munich has built a quiet but serious specialty coffee scene over the past decade, one that doesn't get the international press of berlin or vienna but rewards the people paying attention. concelia coffee gmbh, over on leonrodstraße in the neuhausen-nymphenburg district, sits within that scene without trying to announce itself. it's a roaster with a genuine following, the kind of place where locals return not out of habit but out of preference. if you're approaching from the western side of the city, this is worth planning around rather than stumbling across. the standing it holds among regulars didn't come from marketing. whatever you order, the espresso at mid-morning on leonrodstraße 47 is a good reason to be in that part of munich.
