
the espresso is the thing to start with here. cortado bc sits on east union hills drive in phoenix's north valley, and if you make the drive out to suite b 135, you want to go straight for what they do at the core. espresso-focused roasters tend to either overexplain their sourcing or let the cup do the talking, and the regulars at cortado bc keep coming back, which is its own kind of answer. phoenix's specialty coffee scene has grown fast over the last several years, and spots in the north valley have had to earn their footing without the foot traffic of central phoenix. your best move is a straight shot or something built around one, ordered without overthinking it.
