Decaf

this is a decaffeinated colombian coffee from curious roo coffee roasters, grown from the caturra varietal and processed using the natural method, where the fruit dries around the bean before milling. that fruit contact brings a sweetness that shows up in the cup as milk chocolate and dark chocolate. because it is decaf, it suits an evening brew without sacrificing flavour. a filter or french press approach will let the chocolate character come through cleanly, and dialling grind size carefully matters more here since decaf beans are more porous and extract faster than their caffeinated counterparts.
