if you're driving out to sumner for a reason, 45th street east is an easy addition to the plan. dillanos has been roasting out of this corner of the south sound long enough that its regulars don't really question it anymore, they just show up. the coffee is taken seriously here, sourced and roasted with the kind of attention that makes the gap between a good bag and a forgettable one obvious. you're not getting a trend-chasing menu or a concept built around aesthetics, just coffee people who know what they're doing and have been doing it for a while. the community around this place holds strong opinions, and those opinions have stayed consistent. worth timing your visit around a morning cortado before the day picks up on 45th.
