you're on avenida plaza del sol, somewhere between a parking structure and the kind of commercial strip that doesn't ask too much of you, and el gran tostador is here, operating out of condoplaza with the quiet confidence of a place that's been doing this long enough to stop explaining itself. zapopan gets a lot of foot traffic through these corridors, people running errands, killing time, and a good roaster in that context has to work harder than one tucked into a trendy barrio. the regulars here have clearly decided it's worth the detour, or the deliberate stop, depending on where you're coming from. if you're in the neighborhood mid-morning, that's probably your best window.
