the filter coffee here is worth slowing down for. ferraris coffee operates out of bridgend industrial estate on david street, which isn't the most obvious place to find a roaster this focused, but that's sort of the point. you don't end up here by accident. they roast on-site, which means what ends up in your cup has covered less distance from roaster to grinder than almost anything you'd find in a city-centre chain. the standing speaks for itself, honestly. if you're visiting for the first time, start with something from the filter menu before moving to espresso-based drinks, and give yourself a few minutes rather than rushing it. the industrial estate surroundings fade fast. end with a flat white.
