your hands wrap around the cup and something just clicks. fjord does this quietly, without fanfare, sourcing through germany's specialty coffee network to bring in beans that actually taste like where they came from. the roasts lean light-to-medium, coaxing out fruit and brightness rather than burying everything in char. the berlin coffee scene can get precious about itself, but fjord sidesteps that. there's a cleanness to the cup, a kind of nordic restraint in the name and in the work itself.
