your closest kyoto reference point is fushimi-ku, out near daigo station, which already tells you this isn't a trendy central-city showroom. heroes coffee has been roasting since around 2017, using what they describe as cutting-edge roasting machines, and they time the roast deliberately to catch beans just before peak flavor. you can buy freshly roasted beans to take home or order a custom roast from green beans. the heroes blend is their house signature, but the focus stays squarely on the coffee.
