IL BARISTA CAFÉS ESPECIAIS | VILA NOVA : Casa, Torrefação e Escola do Café
R. Consórcio, 191 - Vila Nova Conceição, São Paulo - SP, 04535-090
the espresso here is a good place to start, and if you're in vila nova conceição with time on your hands, the fact that il barista runs its own roastery and school out of the same address on r. consórcio means what's in your cup has traveled a very short distance. that vertical setup, roasting and teaching and serving under one roof, tends to produce a certain seriousness about quality without the cold-warehouse aesthetic that often comes with it. locals have caught on. the café has built a real following in this part of são paulo, which isn't a neighborhood that suffers mediocre coffee quietly. come for a slow morning, and order the espresso before anything else.
