kaffeeklatsch takes roasting seriously. that's the whole thing, really, and it's enough. huntsville has grown fast, and jefferson street north has grown with it, but this spot holds its ground by keeping its focus narrow and its standards high. you won't find a sprawling menu designed to hedge every preference, just coffee that comes from people who have thought hard about what they're putting in front of you. the regulars keep coming back, and that loyalty isn't random. independent roasters either develop a point of view or they drift, and kaffeeklatsch has clearly done the former. if you're in the area on a weekday morning, make the walk down jefferson street worth it and order whatever's on the brew bar that day.
