you're on chapel road, which runs through the middle of worthing like a spine, connecting the train station end of town to the seafront stretch, and mangiamo sits at numbers 47-49, which gives it a bit more floor space than the average single-unit indie. worthing doesn't get talked about the way brighton does, but that's fine, because the people who actually live here seem to know what they want, and a well-regarded local roaster on a main shopping street is a solid answer to that. as a specialty roaster rather than just a café buying in from elsewhere, mangiamo is working closer to the source of what ends up in your cup. if you're passing through on a weekday morning before the street fills up, that's probably the time to go.
