you're on československé armády, a wide residential boulevard in bubeneč that most visitors to prague 6 never quite make it to. that's partly what makes mazelab feel like a find rather than a fixture, even though the regulars who pack it out would disagree. this is an independent roaster taking its own work seriously, sourcing and roasting on its own terms, not chasing what's already popular. if you're the kind of person who pays attention to where your coffee comes from and how it got to the cup, you'll feel that alignment here pretty quickly. bubeneč is quieter than vinohrady or žižkov, more lived-in, and mazelab fits that register. come on a weekday morning, when the street outside is unhurried and the coffee isn't competing with anything.
