this is a washed peruvian coffee from the chingama region, sourced direct trade by missing bean on turl street. it's built from caturra and bourbon varietals, two classic arabica cultivars that tend toward clean, structured cups. the washed process strips back the fruit skin before drying, which keeps the flavour clear and precise. expect raisin sweetness, a cocoa depth, and a rounded macadamia nuttiness. because the profile is clean and balanced rather than punchy, it responds well to filter brewing, where water temperature and grind consistency can bring out the cocoa and nut character without muddying the sweetness.
