single-origin filter is probably where you want to start at moklair, assuming they're rotating what's on the brew bar with any seriousness, which the regulars seem to suggest they are. reims doesn't have an enormous specialty scene, so a roaster this focused on sourcing and process tends to pull a loyal crowd fast. rue andrieux puts you just inside the city proper, close enough to the centre that it's genuinely convenient rather than a detour. the coffee here is roasted in-house, which matters because you're tasting something made on site rather than bought in from a distant supplier and rebranded. if you're there in the morning, a short black off whatever the current espresso blend is running would be the move.
