barcelona has spent the last decade quietly building a specialty coffee scene that doesn't lean on tourism to justify itself. gràcia is a good part of that story. onyva coffee sits on carrer de verdi, a street where the neighborhood actually lives rather than performs, and that context matters for what you're walking into. this is a roaster with local standing, the kind of place that holds its ground in a city where the options have genuinely improved. you don't come here by accident. gràcia rewards the fifteen-minute walk from the gothic quarter, or the short ride up on the metro, and onyva rewards the stop itself. start with whatever's on the filter menu that day.
