single-origin filter is the move here, if you're the kind of person who wants to actually taste what a roaster thinks about. radical roasters has been doing its thing on st marks road in easton for long enough that the locals have strong opinions about it, which is usually a good sign. easton itself is one of those bristol neighbourhoods that doesn't perform its own coolness, and the roastery fits that register. you won't feel like you've wandered into a brand experience. the sourcing focus is serious, the roasting approach considered, and the community around it has clearly decided this is their place. if you're passing through bs5, the filter bar is where you want to start.
