ovation seasonal blend is a washed multi-origin coffee from soho coffee roasters, drawing on beans from ethiopia, rwanda, and costa rica. the washed process across all three origins strips away the fruit skin and pulp before drying, which tends to produce a cleaner, more defined cup. the result here centres on red apple, a crisp, lightly tart fruit character. because the blend leans clean and bright, it works well as a filter, where that clarity comes through without interference. a medium grind, water around 93c, and a 3, to 4, minute brew time will let the apple note read clearly.
