your walk to cup of joy is short. blandford street, marylebone, one minute from special guests if you already know that block. the room does a lot with terracotta plaster, pale oak, and a long bar that runs the full length of the space. a lit ceiling panel keeps things warm instead of cold and gallery-like. they bag their own coffee here: a house blend of colombia, el salvador and brazil sits alongside a colombia medellin, an ethiopia chelbesa, and a sugar cane decaf. the espresso is good. the cold brew too. the carrot cake holds its own. vibe, experience, coffee, all tens. but the pour overs are the real reason to come back, and you will come back.
