a church on station road west isn't the first place you'd think to look for a serious flat white, but stowmarket has a way of keeping its best things quiet. osier cafe sits inside st peter & st mary's, which sounds like it should be a novelty visit, but the regulars here aren't coming back for the novelty. they're coming back because the coffee is consistently good, and because a place this well-regarded by the people who actually live nearby doesn't stay that way by accident. if you're passing through on the train corridor between ipswich and bury st edmunds, station road west is worth the detour. start with whatever's on filter.
