the TKMSX-5 is a 5 kg gas drum with profile logging, so you can record and aim to repeat roasts. batch range is 1 kg to 5 kg, which suits a small cafe or a roaster testing larger sample batches. the cooling tray works, but you'll want to pull beans quickly to avoid carry-over heat. profile logging helps with consistency, though you're still adjusting gas and air manually during the roast. it's a step up from the 1 kg in terms of control and capacity, but still light-duty. if you're roasting 10 to 20 kg a day, it'll keep up. much beyond that and you'll be roasting all day or looking for a larger drum.
