Auromar Panama Geisha Coffee

auromar panama is a family farm operated by the brenes-eleta family on finca la aurora, situated between 1570 and 1770 masl in the candela district of chiriquí, panama. the farm covers 14.5 hectares and specialises exclusively in geisha and other high-grade arabica varieties grown under forest shade at high altitude. harvests are timed to capture the dry summer season running through mid-april, and all post-harvest processing is done with close manual oversight, including hand-selection, vacuum packing, and hand-boxing of individual orders. both washed and natural process geishas are produced. green coffee is milled and packed to order against confirmed shipment dates, with high-value lots sent via air freight. the farm trades directly with roasters, as documented by at least one european roaster purchasing microlots through direct trade. auromar has scored 95.6 points at the best of panama competition. buyers typically access single-farm, single-variety microlots. the farm is not an importer or exporter in the conventional sense but does handle its own export logistics out of panama. harvest labour is drawn from the indigenous ngäbe-buglé community.
