Bambito Estate Coffee

bambito estate coffee is a family-run farm in the bambito mountains of chiriquí province, panama, operating on land acquired by alberto sittón ríos in 1945 and now managed across its fourth and fifth generations. the farm sits at 1,660 to 1,800 meters elevation, positioned between two national forest parks and bisected by two east-west mountain ridges that create distinct natural microclimates. planted area covers roughly 10 to 11 hectares of a 15-hectare property. the farm runs its own wet mill, fed by two on-site water springs, and maintains a greenhouse for preserving coffee tree genetics. varieties grown include geisha, processed as washed lots. the farm produces microlots and has placed in competition, including a best of panama recognition in 2021 for washed geisha. coffee pulp and mucilage are returned to the soil as organic fertilizer. a cupping room on-site supports quality control before export. the farm sells green coffee and is accessible through panama coffee club usa as a distribution partner. community involvement includes a school breakfast program and annual holiday events for local families. minimum order volume and direct export terms are not publicly confirmed.
