el diviso is a family-owned farm located in the huila department of southern colombia, operating at approximately 1750 masl in the andean highlands. the farm was founded in 1985 and is currently led by siblings nestor and adrian lasso zuñiga, who developed the processing program originally started by their mother marta zuñiga. the farm grows several varieties including java, caturra, chiroso, and gesha, and applies both wet and dry processing methods, including white honey processing. lots are sold as microlots and are positioned for the specialty market. the team manages the full production chain on site, covering growing, organic fertilization, selective picking, processing, and cupping before green coffee is marketed directly. el diviso holds rainforest alliance certification and q processing certification. the farm employs two to ten people and has placed coffees with specialty roasters across multiple countries. buyers typically access their lots through direct or semi-direct purchasing channels rather than through a traditional importer model.
