the sample pro v3 is the standard 50g model for green evaluation and quality control. fixed batch size keeps variables down, and the single-fan construction means there's not much to break or maintain. roast times are quick, typically under 10 minutes from cold start to finished sample. the app control lets you run repeatable profiles or experiment with curves, and the pelican case makes it practical for origin trips. all metal build feels solid, and the glass top lets you watch the roast if you want visual cues. the main limitation is that 50g only gives you enough for a small cupping (five to six cups), so if you need more volume per sample you'll be running multiple batches. not designed to mimic production roasting, so don't expect the cup profile to match your drum roaster exactly. best for importers, roasteries doing lot evaluation, or anyone who needs consistent, portable sample roasting without a lot of fuss.
