the 2-pound doubles capacity to 0.9 kg per batch and can push 55 pounds per day at three batches per hour. it's built for small roasteries, cafes with higher volume, or shops supplying a few wholesale accounts. same fluid-bed automation as the 1-pound, so you set profiles and let it run while you handle other work. roast times stay short, usually under 12 minutes, and the machine still runs on 120v with propane or natural gas heat. ADR software compatibility gives you more control over profiles if you want to move past presets. the 2-pound works well if you're roasting for retail bags, multiple cafe locations, or farmers market sales. it's still a fluid-bed machine, so expect bright, clean cups with less body than drum roasters. venting is simpler than drum machines but you'll still need proper airflow. this is a good choice if you're growing past home roasting but not ready for a 5 or 10 kilo drum. limits are the same as the 1-pound: fluid-bed roasting style and fixed batch size. if you're pushing past 100 pounds per day, you'll want something bigger.
