your first sip of aghara's wet-hulled mandheling tells you everything about sumatra's volcanic soil. the earthy funk hits different here, cleaner somehow. they're pulling beans from the gayo highlands and central java too, but it's their handling of that signature wet-hulling process that sets them apart. the body feels almost syrupy against your tongue. medan's humid air seems to infuse every batch with something you can't get anywhere else.
