this is a single origin coffee from honduras, roasted by joe black coffee roasters. the cup leads with bright citrus, lemon and grapefruit with a zesty edge, then moves into red apple for a crisp, fruit-forward mid-palate. the finish settles into caramel, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and almond, giving it a sweetness and depth that balances the acidity well. it works across a range of brew methods. for filter or pour-over, a medium grind and water around 93c will highlight the citrus and apple notes. for espresso, expect the chocolate and caramel to come forward more prominently.
