Yaye- Special Prep - Ethiopia

yaye special prep is a washed ethiopian coffee roasted by library coffee. ethiopia is the birthplace of arabica, and washed processing strips away the fruit before drying, producing cleaner, more defined cups. this one leans into blueberry and hibiscus up front, with a winey quality that adds depth, before settling into milk and dark chocolate on the finish. because the washed process highlights clarity, it rewards precise brew methods, filter or pour over will let the floral and fruit notes come through cleanly, while espresso will pull the chocolate forward.
