you'll taste why maida takes their time with these indonesian beans. their wet-hulled sumatran mandheling hits different when you know they're sourcing from the same highland farms their founder grew up visiting. the gayo beans carry that earthy, almost metallic finish that screams authentic processing. when you crack open a bag, that distinctive herbal funk fills the room. this isn't coffee trying to be anything other than purely indonesian. maida gets it right.
