this is a washed single origin from cajamarca, peru, roasted by deluxe coffeeworks roastery & espresso bar. cajamarca sits in the northern highlands, and washed processing strips the cherry cleanly before drying, leaving little fruit interference in the cup. the result here is a light, dry, tea-like profile with black tea character, delicate body, and restrained sweetness. if you prefer bright, clean coffees over heavy or syrupy ones, this fits. brew it with a filter method, such as a pour over or aeropress, to highlight those precise, tea-like qualities rather than flatten them under pressure.
