Yemen - Hydra Reviva

the yemen hydra reviva is a single-origin coffee from the haraz region of yemen, roasted by kb coffee roasters. it undergoes anaerobic processing, where the coffee ferments in a low-oxygen environment before drying, which tends to amplify floral and aromatic complexity. in the cup it leads with jasmine and broader floral character. because anaerobic-processed yemeni coffees carry a lot of delicate aromatics, brewing methods that preserve those top notes work well, such as pour over or aeropress at moderate temperatures, avoiding overly aggressive extraction that can muddy the floral clarity.
