blend friends 001 is a collaboration between oddkin coffee roasters and fcp coffee, combining caturra beans from rwanda, burundi, colombia, and brazil into a single natural-process blend. natural processing means the coffee dried with the fruit intact, which tends to push sweetness and floral character to the front. in the cup, expect jasmine and broader floral notes alongside a caramel sweetness. because the natural process adds body and fruit-forward complexity, this blend works well brewed in ways that highlight sweetness and texture, such as pour-over or french press, using water around 90-93°c to keep the floral notes intact without turning bitter.
