a slow saturday morning on wyong road is a reasonable excuse to linger. lambton doesn't rush, and sprocket roasters seems to understand that, which is probably why locals keep coming back with the kind of regularity that says more than any review could. you're not here because you stumbled in, you're here because someone told you to go, and they were right. the roasting side of the operation means the coffee starts somewhere specific, before it ever reaches your cup, and that sourcing focus tends to show in what ends up in front of you. independent roasters at this scale either care deeply or fall apart quickly, and sprocket has clearly stayed on the right side of that line. worth planning your morning around the cortado.
