you're on st george's lane, which puts you right at the edge of canterbury's bus station, not the most obvious postcode for a coffee stop. but lost sheep has been pulling locals back here long enough that the location stopped mattering. canterbury is a city that runs on tourism for much of the year, pilgrims and day-trippers cycling through the same cathedral loop, and a roaster that actually holds the attention of people who live here is doing something right. this is a specialty roaster, not just a café, which means the coffee itself is the point. if you're passing through on a coach connection or killing time before a train, st george's lane is genuinely worth the detour.
