this is a washed ethiopian coffee from the yirgacheffe region, sourced from bekele gemeda and roasted by passport specialty coffee for espresso. washed processing removes the fruit skin and pulp before drying, which tends to produce a cleaner, more defined cup. expect stone fruit and peach alongside jasmine and broader floral tones. because it is roasted for espresso, pulling it as a shot will highlight those fruit and floral characteristics with good clarity. it can also work as a longer milk-based drink if you want the floral notes softened, or as a filter brew if you prefer to explore the lighter end of the roast.
