you're walking into kita-horie, osaka's low-key cool neighbourhood, and maZe has been part of it since november 2021. the shop roasts with a clear lean toward light roasts, letting the bean speak rather than imposing on it. the baristas bring serious technical focus, weighing doses to a tenth of a gram, but the vibe stays warm and unpretentious. it's the kind of place where the precision is real but nobody makes you feel it.
