you're on calle 6 in tenjo, a town in cundinamarca that most people pass through without stopping, and gadejo coffee roasters is one of the better reasons to actually stop. tenjo sits close enough to bogotá that you could drive there and back before lunch, but the pace here is different, and gadejo fits that pace. what they're doing is roasting specialty coffee in a place that isn't a specialty coffee hub, which takes a certain conviction. locals keep coming back, and that kind of loyalty in a small town doesn't happen without consistency. if you find yourself on calle 6 near local 102, give it the time it deserves, not a grab-and-go. stay for the coffee properly.
